General questions
🕰️ When should I be there?
Please plan to arrive at or around 4:00pm. The ceremony starts at 4:30.
🧑🚀 Is there a dress code?
Nope! We just want you to feel good and have fun with us :)
🌷Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
If the weather allows, we’ll start outdoors with the ceremony and dinner, then we’ll move inside for dancing. We’ll keep an eye on the weather and provide updates as needed.
💏 Can I bring a plus one?
If your invitation includes a guest, they are welcome to join! If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and ask —we’re happy to clarify.
🅿️ Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! Free parking is available on-site. Attendants will be there to guide you if needed.
🏨 Are there hotel accommodations nearby?
The venue is a bit outside the center but easily accessible from Central Station:
20 minutes by car
30 minutes by bike (feeling brave?!)
The venue is in a great area to celebrate, but not the best area to stay if you’re visiting for a short period. We recommend staying in the city and either taking an Uber or public transport to the event for that day (see below).
We’ve put together a list of some suggested accommodations on the For Out-of-Town Guests page.
🚐 Is transportation provided?
We maaaaay find a bus or something, depending on where everyone’s coming from and how they’ll get there, but it’s likely we’ll ask you to use Uber /Bolt, cycle, or carpool. You can also take the bus with a short walk.
If you need help making sure you get there and back easily, just let us know :) There are much more exciting places to get lost in Amsterdam…
🚌 Can I take public transportation to the venue?
There’s a bus from Central Station that takes you to a stop 13 mins walking away from the location.
Gifts & Registry
🎁 Is there a registry? Can I bring a gift to the wedding?
We do not have a registry, but if you’d like gift us something, you can do so by either bringing it to the wedding or having it delivered to our home:
Admiraal de Ruijterweg 351E
1055MA Amsterdam
The Netherlands
💰 Do you have a honeymoon fund instead of gifts?
Hell yes! MONEY!!! 🤑 Uh, we mean sure — that would be so kind of you!
You are welcome to participate in the classic European tradition of putting cash in an envelope and giving it to our trusted ceremoniemeester, Sybi (or either of us).
If you’d prefer, you can contribute online through a link that we will add to this page closer to the wedding date.
Ceremony & Reception
🥂Will there be an open bar?
Yes! We’ll be serving beer, wine, and a selection of cocktails. Let’s get wasstteedd celebrate! For real it’s all unlimited. Just don’t break anything unless it’s really funny when you do.
📆 What’s the timeline for the day?
The ceremony begins at 4:30pm, followed by cocktails, dinner, and dancing. We’ll share a full schedule closer to the date, but loosely, we have the space from 4pm until 2-3am.
📸 Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Yes, snap away! We’d love it if you eventually share some of those pictures with us too. But feel free to keep some of them private — see the next question…
💃 Will there be dancing?
Absolutely — remember, this is Alina’s wedding!
But also, remember, this is Ben’s wedding.
And you might be thinking: “Ben doesn’t dance!”
And you might be wrong.
Get ready for some freaky shit!
🧒 Are kids allowed at the wedding?
We love your little ones, but we’re planning an adults-only celebration. (See the above question…)
That said, we don’t want to put anyone in a tough spot. If you think you’ll have considerable difficulty finding a place to stash your little one(s) for the evening, please let us know.
